Part-Time Administrative Assistant (3 days Per Week), Blanchardstown

IASIO (the Irish Association for Social Inclusion Opportunities), is a national organisation that works with State agencies in the development and delivery of services to marginalised groups, enabling communities to become more socially inclusive through excellence in practice. IASIO’s current operational scope includes three national Services and two smaller projects: The Linkage Service, the Gate Service, the Resettlement Service; and, The Community Support Scheme and The Supported Employment Service. In particular, it is the only national organisation for adult offenders in the community and voluntary sector with a specific focus on alternatives to both offending and re-imprisonment. This is achieved through the provision of direct services to offenders in the community and to prisoners, services which range from 1-to-1 guidance counselling, group work, psychometric assessment, resettlement planning & support and placement in the community. IASIO’s core mission is the social inclusion of people marginalised from mainstream opportunity.

We are seeking applications from suitably experienced candidates for a part-time, 3 days per week, Administrative Assistant position in IASIO’s Head Office in Blanchardstown, Dublin 15;

Experience

One or more years’ experience in a similar role

General knowledge of office administration preferred

Essential Requirements

Excellent IT skills, Word, Excel, Databases

Knowledge of IT systems

Excellent organisational skills

Excellent record keeping and administration skills

Excellent attention to detail

Fluency in English, both written and verbal is required

Flexibility and the ability to manage a varied workload

Ability to deal with and respond to telephone queries

Commitment and ability to work effectively both within a team and on own initiative

To be aware of and adhere to confidentiality policies and procedures of IASIO

Please note:

Full access to transport for business is essential

Interviews for this post will take place in Dublin on the 28th May 2019 and successful candidates will be called for interview in IASIO’s head office in Blanchardstown

Salary for this position is €25,565 pro-rata per annum

The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible

The appointment of a successful candidate will be made subject to two satisfactory references (one from your most recent employer)
