McGrath Constuction Consultants are inviting candidates to apply for the position of Senior / Intermediate Quantity Surveyor. The Successful candidate will be based in Co. Wexford.

What you’ll need to have The successful candidate will have a Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, preferably 3+ years Quantity Surveying experience. Further 3rd level training can be provided if required. Flexible terms available. Wexford based, work from home option available.

What you’ll be doing:

Reporting to the Managing Director you will be given excellent exposure to your own projects & clients having responsibility for one of our many multi million euro developments.

Excellent opportunity for advancement within the company for the right candidate.

As a member of the Quantity Surveying Team you will be provided with the opportunity to gain knowledge of all Quality Surveying duties (Developer QS, Client QS, Contractor QS, Sub Contractor QS) on both large & small projects.

Principle Duties:

Preparing budget cost plans

Preparation of final account at the end of the project

Issuing interim payment applications to clients representative

BOQ production

Reviewing Tender enquiries and tender analysis for projects


Value Engineering

Site Visits

Compiling & managing variations and the variation log

Managing of post contract costs
