Due to ongoing growth Roadform Ltd currently require a Contracts Manager with civil contracting experience in Ireland or the UK for projects in the Cork area.

The contracts manager will report to the managing director and will have responsibility for managing multiple civil contracts and managing associated senior staff.

Job Description:

Manage day to day operational duties

Manage and coordinate project team staff to ensure performance and delivery of projects to the highest health and safety, quality and environmental standards

Responsibility for the delivery of the project on time, within specification and on budget

Work closely with the managing director

Must be very commercially aware and be able to identify and manage cost control opportunities on projects

Must be technically competent with the ability to set and follow project milestones and deliveries

Ensure projects run to the highest levels of health and safety, quality and environmental standards are met


Experience & Skills:

Degree in Construction Management or Engineering

Strong knowledge of temporary works, current construction techniques and value engineering concepts

Have 5+ years experience in similar role managing medium to large scale heavy civil contracts with value up to €10m

Have high standards of quality of work

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Ability to work with Client/Design teams and supply chain members

Demonstrate financial, commercial and business development acumen


Ability to work well under pressure and within deadline environment
