Glenveagh Properties PLC is seeking a Water Service Infrastructure Manager to join our team and be responsible for overseeing our drainage and water activities on a large number of active projects. You will support, monitor and audit the delivery of infrastructure on new and ongoing residential developments.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a multitude of large residential and mixed used projects. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic fast paced multi-disciplinary environment and with a high level of attention to detail.
Assist in the design, and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure on residual and mixed-use projects
Ensure that works are carried out in compliance with Irish Water's Code of Practice for Wastewater and Water
Ensure quality is at a consistently high level and pro-actively identify and quality issues.
Coordinate, chair and attend meetings as required with third party stakeholders both within and external to the Company
Develop and implement Inspection & Testing Plans to ensure that they align with the business's construction programme
Audit and report on Irish Water Quality Assurance requirements
Develop and maintain thorough knowledge and understanding of project deliverables and contractual requirement
In collaboration with other stakeholders, prepare, review, and monitor data, information, and reports related to area of responsibility
Level 8 Degree or higher in Civil Engineering or equivalent; Chartership a distinct advantage
Significant experience in water and wastewater design and auditing
Working knowledge of Civil 3D; Drainage Design Suites; Autocad
Strong working knowledge of safety and health regulations with regard to the design and construction process
Experience of working on high profile and high-density projects.
Demonstrate an ability to communicate effectively with senior team members, lead quality delivery and encourage quality workmanship.
Ability to work as part of a team, reporting into senior management and participating in project lifecycle activities.
Ability to be flexible and to provide solutions to project quality problems.
Experience in coordinating and delivering weekly and monthly reports into the senior team, providing progress reports, quality risk reports, with updates to project documentation.
Leadership with the ability to monitor, mentor, advise, lead and influence at all levels
Member of Engineers Ireland or Chartered Institute of Building.
Experience using Aconex or similar cloud platform
High level of organisational skills
