What’s the opportunity?
We are seeking a part time Education Resource Manager who is looking for a new and exciting challenge.
Job responsibilities will include:
Sense checking educational concepts (innate understanding of what teachers require, programmes that would be welcomed etc):
Project conception, research and development
Providing content for Educational tenders
Overseeing curricular relevance of each programme
Research and investigate project related information and trends in the educational community:
Researching at both national and international level
Identifying emerging trends in relevant subject areas
Collating and develop educational resources for internal circulation and use
Update and maintain educational resources, publications, curricular updates, articles, circulars, disseminate and share internally
Focus groups – identifying stakeholders, preparation and facilitation of focus groups as required
Production and oversight of pedagogical resources for teachers:
Creating lesson plans based on the relevant curricular areas
Creating activities and other classroom-based materials
Creating content for educational websites
Providing feedback and suggesting improvements
Delivery of educational workshops to teachers, facilitators or students
Networking and creating opportunities to work with relevant educational bodies:
Identifying relevant conferences to attend
Representing Real Nation at relevant educational events
Informing other Project Managers of relevant conferences to attend
Liaising with teachers and educational bodies
Creating and managing educational panels
Developing criteria for programme and competition participation
Reviewing and adjudicating competition entries for educational programmes
Exceptional organisational skills and an ability to prioritise
Excellent time-management skills
Experienced multi-tasker with the ability to work under pressure
Self-directed, showing initiative, ambition, leadership and a drive to succeed
Comfortable working to strict deadlines with a ‘can do’ attitude.
Articulate, with excellent written and verbal communication skills (high level of written English is essential)
Excellent attention to detail
A flexible and adaptable approach to work
Professional at all times
A background in education with a strong knowledge of Primary and Second Level Curricula is required
6 month part time contract
2 days per week but flexibility to work additional days during busy periods would be appreciated
