Job Description:

Trinity Motor Group are seeking to recruit an Accountant to join our Team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the smooth and effective running of the finance and administration functions. Very strong administration support teams are already in place. As a qualified accountant you will lead these teams and be expected to ensure the group has at all times efficient and effective business processes, to assist in the future growth of this already highly successful operation. 

Requirements:

     3+ years of commercial management accounting experience 
    ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
    Competent IT skills including strong knowledge and use of Excel.
    Excellent attention to detail.
    Knowledge of CDK/Autoline highly desirable or proven ability to adapt and learn new systems quickly.
    Experience of working in a robust, well controlled financial environment and the ability to prioritise workloads in an efficient and effective manner. 
    Ability to take ownership of tasks & interest in continuous process improvement.
    Excellent organisational skills. 
    Excellent presentation and communication skills with a can do attitude.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:

    Preparation of monthly management accounts to strict deadlines.
    Preparation of monthly rolling and annual budgets and cash flow forecasting.
    Fixed asset register maintenance and calculation of depreciation.
    Debtors, creditors and bank control accounts and reconciliations.
    VAT, VRT, PAYE and PRSI control accounts and reconciliations including responsibility for weekly payroll for all companies.
    Ensuring all statutory requirements are met for all companies.
    Weekly and monthly detailed KPI reports.
    Management of accounts staff.
    Development, implementation and management of debtor control system.
    Monitoring and reporting on the efficiency of the servicing/parts departments.
    Assisting/guiding the accounts team.
    Submission of composites as required to manufacturers.
