Job Description:

 

In this role you will report to the Helpdesk supervisor.

Primary responsibility

Effective Management of the planning, scheduling and invoicing of Installations.

Specific duties & responsibilities

Working closely with the line managers across all business units you will monitor the progress of all projects to ensure their timely progress through the system.
Submit weekly reports which provide updates on invoicing, orders on hand, orders with issue’s etc.
Work closely with the HSEQ Manager to ensure sub-contractor files are kept up to date for continued compliance, insurance, safe pass, C2 etc.
Ensure all customer orders are confirmed with client, detailing lead times, and that the customer is at all times informed of the current progress of their order.
Ensure that all pre delivery work is notified to the client and that these are completed in advance of installation.
Working closely with purchasing to ensure orders of non-stock items for associated works are ordered and meet with agreed deadlines/delivery dates and escalate where appropriate.
To work closely with line managers to schedule resources to maximise staff productivity and availability. While always ensuring that the customer expectations and requirements are given top priority.
Updating and distributing Company procedure to all engineering staff where appropriate.
Undertake any responsibilities that may be allocated to you from time to time.
Production of monthly reports.
Participate in the switch board rota.
Manage and maintain all projects on a daily basis.
Organise activities to ensure engineers spend the minimum time in EA House and that goods are pre-booked to allow dispatch of product from stores as early as possible.
In conjunction with the Line managers liaise with sub-contractors, 3rd party suppliers for timely delivery of projects.

 

Hour of work 9.00am to 17.00pm with a 30-minute lunch break.

20 Days Holidays and after successful completion of probation period this is increased to 21 days per Year.

3 days paid sick leave applicable after probation period is completed successfully.
