Allen Dairy Services provide sales, service and technical support to the Dairy Farming Industry, covering Carlow, Wicklow, South Dublin, Kilkenny, Laois and Kildare.

We are looking for an Installation Service/Technician to join our team based in County Kildare.

Job Description

The fitting, servicing and repair of milking machines, hydraulic scrapers, feeders, etc. on site. This position will involve working mainly in the Leinster area.

Requirements

Experience in electrical/plumbing/pipe installation would be preferred but not essential
To repair, maintain and service milking equipment
Ability to work as part of a team
Be flexible and willing to work overtime if required (can occasionally involve weekend work)
Willing to work in varied roles as required
Confident and able to work on your own initiative
Able to communication with customers on work undertaken and related matters
Accuracy in the preparation and delivery of technical job reports on job completion
Good time keeping
To ensure that quality, environmental, and health and safety standards are maintained at all times
Based locally
Honest hardworking attitude
Must speak fluent English
A background or interest in agriculture is an advantage
