Job Description:

EZ Living Interiors are seeking a Transport Manager to join our team based out of our Head Office in Little Island.

Responsible for the continuous monitoring and organisation of all transport functions, while working with the Warehouse manager to ensure best practices are in place to fit our business needs and result in delivering superior service to our stores and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Overall management and oversight of all transport operations within the business.
Ensure all transport operations meet legal requirements and compliance with EU and national regulations and directives.
Maintain meticulous records for all transport vehicle types.
Implement the required policies and procedures for compliance with EU, Irish and Local Health & Safety regulations, including all RSA requirements.
Ensure all administration functions are documented correctly and on time. e.g. statutory records, daily check reports, replacement requests, vehicle records, accident reports and safety records etc.
Coordinate with Warehouse Team to ensure excellent customer service on-site and throughout our delivery network.
Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Management of Transport team; following up on performance, develop KPI’s and provide coaching, training and planning.
Resolve transport issues/complainants in a professional and timely manner, implementing corrective actions and disciplinary actions in line with company policy.
Maintain physical condition of all transport vehicles; inspecting equipment, issuing work orders for repair and arranging replacements/repairs.
Build and Improve customer service approach within the team.
Complete a quarterly summary report of transport performance for Management, including cost analysis.
Provide strong, capable leadership and clear direction to all team members, including all support functions.
Qualifications & Experience:

3+ year’s relevant experience
Third level qualification in relevant discipline preferred.
