To manage all product intake activities daily, weekly and monthly within cost, quality, H&S and environmental parameters.
The Intake Supervisor will be responsible for the management of all incoming stock and deliveries.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
-1. It is critical to ensure a high quality standard of all incoming goods is maintained. Vegetables, packaging etc.
-2. Input stock data by daily.
-3. Liaise daily with purchasing personnel in relation to all shortages highlighting key areas of stock replenishment.
-4. Ensure returns logbook is managed accurately and communicated to office personnel daily.
-5. Ensure all stock deliveries are accurate and in accordance with delivery dockets.
-6. Develop relationships with our suppliers.
-7. Carryout packaging stock take on weekly basis.
-8. Month end stock take of all goods must be conducted to a high level of accuracy.
-9. Weekend Cover: Consult with Production Manager to ensure all stock is available.
-10. Communication: To ensure all relevant information is communicated to all personnel clearly and timely. All written / data information is recorded accurately and timely.
-11. Health & Safety: Ensure adherence to all aspects of H&S standards at work.
-12. Shift Handover: To ensure smooth transfer of information at end of shift or shift change over.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
All of the above will be best delivered by a self-disciplined and structured individual. Needs to have the ability to communicate clearly with all key stakeholders.
