We are looking for a Service advisor to join our team at a busy south side Honda dealership.
Previous motor industry experience is not necessary.
Candidate must be a good communicator and have a pleasant demeanour.
Handle telephone enquires and walk in requests from customers wishing to book in for service or repairs
Determine workshop availability using the workshop loading or booking system
Liaise with parts department to ensure correct parts are ordered for job and will be available
Meet and greet customers when they arrive with their vehicle
Establish a clear understanding of any symptom or problem the customer has with their vehicle
Complete job card with clear information of work to be completed by workshop
Verify method of payment and clarify what customer must pay for
Liaise with customers while their vehicle is in workshop to inform them of the estimate of additional work needed and obtain authorisation for all such additional works
When the customer arrives to collect their car, explain all service and repair work completed and how it is reflected in the invoice
Manage booking to maximise workshop productivity
