Exiting opportunity to join the successful team at HES.

We have over 38 years experience in electrical contracting and maintenance. Our customers include International PLCs and semi state bodies. Our expertise ranges from potentially explosive atmospheres to EV charging.

*Location flexible*

General description: Maintenance electrician with responsibility for periodic testing and inspection, emergency lighting and reactive maintenance in the Munster region. The successful candidate will undergo a period of training.

Responsibilities

Periodic inspection of electrical systems such as wiring, fixtures, and appliances.

Correct use of multi function test equipment to compile test records in accordance with the recommendations of the CRU.

Emergency Lighting testing and associated record keeping.

Compilation of work records.

Identifying faults or hazards.

Troubleshooting faults and failures in fixed wiring and equipment.

Conducting maintenance repairs on old or faulty equipment.

Responding to callouts.

Providing suggestions for equipment replacement.

Writing electrical maintenance reports.

Small to medium installation .

Adhering to safety and performance standards.

Requirements

Electrician qualification to National craft certificate or equivalent.

Proven work experience as a Maintenance Electrician.

Familiarity with industrial and commercial electrical systems and the National wiring rules.

Good problem-solving skills.

Physically capable of carrying out the tasks required.

Good communication skills.

Full driving licence
