The CRC delivers a range of services to children and adults with disabilities both nationally and locally through our centres in Dublin, Limerick and Waterford and our Outreach Services. CRC Firhouse Local Centre

Specified purpose post, part-time 26hrs per week. Monday to Sunday roster 8am to 8pm, flexibility to work evenings and weekends is essential as service will be delivered in line with the needs of the individuals attending the centre.

The Chef in CRC Firhouse Local Centre has responsibility to provide an efficient and friendly catering service while ensuring that the preparation, presentation and service of food is carried out promptly and to the highest standards.

Applicants for this position should have the following essential criteria:

London City & Guilds 706-1/ & 706/-2 qualification

Knowledge of Allergen legislation and experience with modified diets

Experience of HACCP level 2

A minimum of two years’ experience working within a social or healthcare catering environment

The ability to comply with Health and Safety regulations and the Safety Statement of the CRC and Catering department

Desirable requirements:

Experience working with adults with disabilities would be an advantage
