Job Description:

Title: Cleaner (Aircraft and Office Operative)

Reporting to: Baggage and Transport Manager and Supervisory Team

Rules: As per Sky Handling Partner Employment Contract, Company policy and procedures.

Main Tasks: Aircraft Appearance

Role: To perform the main tasks outlined in a professional and courteous manner, focusing on delivering the highest standard of cleaning and customer service.

· Vacuum carpets and wipe down drop tables

· Use prescribed cleaning agents to clean galleys (kitchen areas)

· Removal of rubbish from the aircraft and making sure that it is properly disposed of per environmental policy and procedure.

· Cleaning and restocking aircraft toilets

· Placing magazine packs in seat pockets and replacing headrest covers

· Security checking of the aircraft and looking for suspicious items

· To undertake any other tasks as reasonably requested by management or other company representatives

· You may be required to cover Team Lead role for coverage purposes.

· Other duties may be assigned from time to time.

Main Tasks: Office Cleaning

Role: Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene of offices to ensure the required safety, health and welfare conditions are achieved.

· Empty all bins and removal of rubbish ensuring that it is properly disposed of per environmental policy and procedure.

· Hoover / Mop Clean [as appropriate to floor type] all floor spaces

· Clean and Polish all desks regularly, ask employee at desk to temporarily move anything obstructing cleaning of desk.

· Clean down doors of cupboards and main doors regularly

· Clean and polish all window sills and skirting boards regularly

· Clean all internal glass regularly and external upon request.

· Cleaning of all kitchen counters, floors, doors and appliances daily as assigned

· Cleaning of washroom facilities daily as assigned

· Deep Cleaning will be requested on an ad-hoc basis.

· You may be required to cover Team Lead role for coverage purposes.

· To undertake any other tasks as reasonably requested by management or other company representatives

· Reporting of any facility service defects e.g. plumbing issues.

· Other duties may be assigned from time to time.

Key Performance Indicators

· Able to work quickly, but thoroughly without needing constant prompting to help us cope with our busy schedule.

· Must be able to adapt quickly and work in a very busy and highly demanding operational environment

· Must be reliable, able to carry heavy loads and also climb stairs

· Must be able for a high level of twisting, turning, bending and cleaning in tight spaces

· Must be able to work in various weather conditions (hot / cold / wind / rain)

· Excellent Organisational Skills.

· Proactive with a positive attitude.

· Ability to work rostered shifts and to be flexible in the event of disruptions.

· A good record for punctuality and time keeping.

· Excellent grooming and customer service standards are required in order to present a positive image.

Essential Criteria:

· Minimum age requirement 18 years.

· Preferably Full Clean Driving Licence, Category B

· Pass a 5-year security background check and Garda Vetting process

· Provide verifiable written references for the previous 5 years

· Eligible to live and work in the E.U.

· Possess good written and verbal English language skills

· Willing to work a range of shift duties in a 24 hour, 7 day a week operation

· Be physically fit and able to pass a medical assessment

· Prepared to adhere to the SHP grooming & uniform standards

Desirable Criteria:

· Manual Handling Certificate

· Previous experience in an operational environment

· Industrial/Office cleaning experience

Contract These positions will be permanent role with a probation period of 6 months.
Hours you will be contracted to a minimum of 20 hours per week but full time hours are regularly rostered. You may be required to work additional hours when the operation requires it or in the event of aircraft delays / operational disruptions.
* Salary €11.20 gross per hour plus additional shift premium payment of €10 per Sunday worked.

* Shift Work Interested candidates will be required to work a range of shift duties in a 24 hour, 7 day a week operation. Shift length can vary between 4 and 10 hours and will include early starts and late finishes.

* Part-time hours: 20 hours per week minimum
