Calpeda is a leading manufacturer of Fluid Handling Equipment, and we are seeking to expand our sales team. This is a newly create role and will offer the successful candidate an excellent opportunity for career development. With over 4000 products in our range suitable for HVAC, Water/Wastewater, Industrial Agri-Food & Domestic applications. We are seeking a technically minded sales & marketing professional, ideally with experience in the pump industry. You must be able to converse confidently at all levels right up to closure of sale. You will be working throughout Ireland or office based, continuously generating sales and promoting product awareness to achieve the company’s agreed targets. You must have excellent communication skills and the ability to negotiate in all environments e.g. face to face, by phone & email.


Direct sales & marketing to industry, end users, merchants, contractors, and consulting engineers.
Interpret enquiries, produce quotations & generate orders in line with agreed targets.
Organisation and delivery of CPD courses & Presentations.
Provide technical advice and select products for client applications.
Promotion of the Calpeda Brand in line with company’s ethos and vision.


10 years’ experience in relevant/ similar industry
3rd level technical qualification ideally in an engineering discipline.
Previous sales experience to HVAC / Water / Wastewater / Construction / Industry would be preferred.
Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
Willingness to travel and a full clean driving license.
Flexibility in all aspects of work – ‘Can Do’ attitude.
PC Literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook.
Results oriented, self-motivated & ability to work on own initiative.
Customer focused.
Attention to detail.
Good organisational and planning skills.
Good negotiating skills & ability to close a sale.

A Salary of €60-€65K OTE will be offered based on experience and suitability.
A laptop, phone & company vehicle will be provided.

Full product training will be provided.
