Key Responsibilities include;

Monitor quality control, on and off site in conjunction with the project team, ensuring that the standard of work and materials supplied by the contractor are as specified in accordance with the contract information. Review and report deviations from specified construction procedures to ensure compliance with regulations, specifications and other contract documents.

Track and report progress in relation to cost & programme.

Monitor the effectiveness of site management. Co-ordinate and prepare written reports to the Lead Project Manager to ensure no interruption occurs to the delivery Programme.
Create and maintain records

Attend site meetings and maintain a Daily Works diary, recording decisions, events, appointments, staff details, site visits, equipment on site, contractor’s attendance, daily temperatures, photographs of progress.

Record anomalies in site activities including weather, Health & Safety, quality of work, etc.
Track the co-ordination of M&E services and ensure compliance with the contract documents

Oversee Witness testing, Installation and Commissioning during and on completion of the Works.

Maintain a current drawing/specifications database

Produce a weekly report, summarising weekly activity on site including photographs.
Ensure Site Security Protocols are adhered to

Facilitate prompt delivery of as-built records, safety files, digital projects manuals, O & M manuals etc.

Coordinate the necessary pre-contract and post-completion decanting and logistical tasks to ensure effective, efficient and satisfactory delivery of the project, with a minimum of disturbance to services and staff.

Prepare schedule of defects and certify rectification of snagging items.
Identify and encourage continual improvement and innovation so that best practice is applied

Aid the successful handover of the projects in relation to services.

Undertake Health & safety duties commensurate with the post.
Provide assistance and support to the Design Team in the preparation of formal contract responses to the Contractor

Liaise between the Client, Design and Contractor as appropriate to close out Technical Queries, responses to Contractors Communications etc.

Ensure understanding and application of responsibilities regarding the Environment, Health, Safety, Security and Quality Standards
Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will be a results driven and self-motivated individual and will have;

At least 15 years’ relevant experience in a Senior Position
Detailed working knowledge of building construction technology and knowledge of mechanical & electrical services.

Experience working in a live operational environment or similarly regulated environment such as Aviation, Pharmaceutical, Data Centre.

A clear focus on Client satisfaction and successful project delivery
Excellent IT, Report Writing and Communication Skills.

Ability to manage relationships effectively, identifying and resolving issues at the earliest possible opportunity

On site experience in the role of Site Management / Clerk of Works required
