O’D Cleaning Supplies Ltd., a well-established importer, distributor and seller of industrial and domestic cleaning equipment, consumables, and products is seeking an Accounts/Office Assistant for their office in Ennis.

 Working with the General Manager, the person will be supported and trained but they must also be able to work on their own initiative. They will be part responsible for the accounts and administrative duties in a busy sales office.

 The main duties include:

·    -   Inputting and issuing of accurate sales invoices through Sage

·         Inputting of supplier invoices on Sage

·         Checking supplier invoices are correct

·         Payment of suppliers in a timely manner

·         Issuing monthly statement

·         Collection of debts and monies owed

·         Reconciliation of bank accounts and credit card payments

·         Banking and lodgements

·         Management of the petty cash transactions

·         Any ad-hoc duties as outlined by management 

It is a dynamic role and will involve working closely with other members of staff in order to maximise sales opportunities. It will require a highly motivated and organised individual to use their excellent communication and administration skills.

 Key Skills:

 Knowledge of Sage Software would be desirable but not essential

Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
