A rare opportunity has arisen to join an established internationally renowned lighting design and metal crafting workshop based in Dublin. We are seeking a highly skilled, ambitious experienced metal fabricator to join our company and become an integral part of the existing skilled team. This role would best suit a person with a creative approach and a curiosity as to how things are made with a passion for technically challenging work. The role would see the successful candidate working daily on the making of unique commissioned projects.
The role will see you work directly on the fabrication of the unique lights from the start to the completion of each piece, working both independently and as part of the team.
You will be involved in all aspects of metal working from small highly detailed work to larger scale fabrication and will include sheet metal fabrication, welding, grinding, sanding and polishing and any specialist training required, will be provided. There will be a unique opportunity to bring your own experience and skill into practice on a day to day basis as we actively encourage this in order to continuously improve and streamline the making of the work.

· Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience.
· TIG welding required.
· It is essential that candidates can read and understand shop drawings.
· Excellent communication and Interpersonal skills are essential for this job.
· Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
· Team player and a good problem solver
· High level of attention to detail.
Candidates must have a proven track record in all of the above criteria.
Highly competitive negotiable salary starting at €42k
