Job Description:

Maintenance Engineer P3

About the role:
• Under the direction of the Engineering Manager of Takeda Grange Castle, you will ensure engineering and safety excellence while supporting the P3 Engineering Team in ensuring that facilities, equipment are maintained to meet the required standards.
• You will also support Engineering and Production with the implementation of improvements and enhancements. This includes design definition, change control and project management.
• You will have on optimising equipment and systems performance, improving,, troubleshooting fault-finding, asset replacement planning.

Optional hybrid work model.

How you will contribute:
• Daily demand and preventative maintenance and of plant and manufacturing equipment to maintain product quality and production schedule goals.
• Liaise with Internal/External Engineering Personnel and contract maintenance providers in maintaining troubleshooting
• Provide a Facilities and Manufacturing Engineering service to the plant, to maximise the availability of Plant and Manufacturing Equipment.
• Be a system matter expert (SME) for cGMP and non-cGMP systems.
• Ensure PM system is implemented on facility and manufacturing equipment.
• Implement CI projects on systems and ensure they are operating at optimum.
• Participate & Contributes to the site Energy Management Programme, ISO 50001:2018
• Maintain close collaboration with Manufacturing when implementing improvement opportunities,
• Participate in some capital projects through all the phases of project lifecycle.
• Responsible for initiation and completion of deviations, CAPAs, and change controls
• Provide support to manufacturing and maintenance
• Provide on-call support during project and shutdown activities,
• Ensure completion of preventative maintenance and capital improvement activities following Takeda CMMS
• Plan and manage shutdown activities.
• Experience with vendors, contractors, external consultants.

General Responsibilities
• Participate in any training programs.
• Promote the corporate values of Takeda-ism within the workplace.
• foster, in cooperation with other TIL staff, an ethos and culture of safety awareness where safety is accepted as an necessary part of the business
• Ensure that Accident Reports / Near Miss Forms are completed promptly after an event
• Ensure completion of all SOP, reading, training and assessment
• Compile Equipment Performance reviews. Use of Right First Time (RFT) tools to equipment performance

What you bring to Takeda:
• Level 8 qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or Energy Systems Engineering
• 5 + years' relevant experience
• Cleanroom and Facilities validation experience including annual requalification of cleanrooms
• Membership of a recognised engineering body is desirable.
• Time served Qualification
• Have experience working in a regulated industry
• Performance and participation in continuous improvement (AGILE) projects
• Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel
• Follow company time keeping policy, be, with good troubleshooting
• Experience working with HVAC systems in the biopharmaceutical industry
• Work. Working with the Engineering team to assess needs and address equipment/system issues in a structured formal way
• take appropriate safe action to prevent personnel injury or equipment damage during emergencies or unusual situations
• Analytical, evaluate solutions, and recommend comprehensive upgrades to prevent future issues.
