The Fabricator will be responsible for the fabrication and tacking together of structural components. Produce parts to a high quality and standard, and in an efficient manner

Key Responsibilities:
• Complete the fabrication of structural steel components for our products.
• MIG / MAG welding processes.
• Follow company welding procedures and specifications.
• Lifting and moving components using an overhead gantry crane.
• Adhering to quality control standards and inspections,
• Flexible to work outside regular hours if required.
• Operate equipment and tools which include forklifts, hoists, slings, grinders.
• Manual Handling, abrasive wheel training, and Forklift licence would be advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

Attributes:
• A recognised Metal Fabricator apprenticeship.
• Experience reading engineering drawings.
• Experience in the use of overhead cranes and lifting equipment would be an advantage.
• Experience with heavy steel construction would be an advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years experience required.
