We are recruiting for a Qualified Accounting Technician to join our dynamic Office Team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing Irish Business located right in the heart of Waterford’s City Centre.

As we continue to expand The Stable Yard Food Hall now comprises of 5 different premises;
• No.9 Restaurant
• Carter's Chocolate Café
• The Italian Bakery & Pizza Kitchen
• The Stable Yard Mediterranean Deli & Food Store

The ideal candidate will have/be:
• Financial Qualification and/or minimum of 2 years suitable experience
• Proficiency in Sage 50, Sage Payroll and Microsoft applications essential (particularly a high competency in Excel)
• Excellent numeric, analytical skills and attentiveness to detail
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
• Ability to work diligently, accurately and under pressure
• Excellent commercial sense
• Be self-motivated
• Ability to multi-task, skill in establishing priorities and managing workloads
• An understanding of Business Practices gained through relevant work experience
• Experience in Vat returns, ROS
• Keen to learn and willingness to proactively resolve issues as they arise

Job Description:
• Responsible for the upkeep of books of accounts of 5 companies
• Process all sales & purchase invoices
• Preparation of Month End accounts
• Maintain all accounting records for the Year End Accounts
• Assist with Audit queries
• Assist with Payroll & Payroll Queries as needed
• Preparation and submission of Revenue Returns, VAT & PAYE/PRSI
• Ad Hoc Reporting and General Office duties
