Job Description:

Due to continued growth and expansion within Outsourced Bookkeeping, we now require an additional individual to take on the position of office administrator and in-house bookkeeper to assist with the daily management of the company’s accounts, other office/ administrative tasks as required and to be point of contact within the company for our external accounting team.


Office Administrator and Bookkeeper 

Key Responsibilities

Preparation of the company’s management accounts and completion of certain tax compliance obligations, including:

• Data entry of purchases, sales, and bank on a weekly basis

• Reconciling bank, debtors, and creditors accounts

• Completion and submission of VAT returns and RCT filings 

• Submission of PAYE returns to Irish Revenue 

• Preparation of weekly payroll

• Preparation of monthly reports to strict deadlines

• Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts

• Answering the phone as required

Skills and Experience Required

The successful candidate should have at least 3 years prior experience in a similar bookkeeping role.

This experience should include extensive knowledge and use of: 

• Microsoft Office package, including Excel and Word

• Proficient in use of Sage accounting & payroll software

• Irish Revenue’s Online System (ROS)
