This exciting position as part of our service team offers the successful candidate the opportunity to be involved in new project installations as well as routine servicing and preventative maintenance of our robotic milking systems and associated barn equipment in the Cork Limerick and Kerry area.d barn equipment in the Cork Limerick and Kerry area.

The Role:

Working as part of our service team according to planned schedules servicing robotic milking/feeding equipment and associated barn products throughout Cork Kerry and Limerick

Ensuring high quality service performance and customer satisfaction by working according to Lely protocols and preventative maintenance guidelines

Maintaining appropriate service van stock levels by accurate recording of spare parts usage

Building long term relationships with customers by providing clear guidelines and information on daily maintenance tasks with robotic milking systems

Provide additional support for Installations and start up of robotic milking projects where necessary

Ensuring accurate daily and weekly reporting according to Lely Center guidelines

Play an active role at Lely opendays, trade shows and customer discussion group meetings

Providing regular customer feedback to the wider Lely Organisation to further improve products and services

Your Background:

 A genuine interest in the agricultural sector, you must be comfortable and competent when dealing with farmers and their livestock.

Motivated, organised, prepared to learn with a genuine interest in Dairy Farming.

 Customer orientated team player with good communication skills

Ability to clearly understand the working situation and have the flexibility and empathy to align with the farmer

Sound technical knowledge with ability to solve technical issues and carry out preventive maintenance.

A good standard of education is essential with mechanical, electrical and IT experience being an advantage

Ideally from an electrical and or agricultural background
