Clinical Nurse Manager and Person in Charge (PIC) Respite Service in South Donegal Permanent, 39 hours Job Purpose Responsibility for service planning, development, delivery and the daily management of a quality client focused respite service, supporting clients with Intellectual disabilities in a person centred respite service. The post holder will also be the nominated Person in Charge for the designated center and will ensure the provision of high quality, responsive and sustainable services in accordance with HIQA regulations and relevant legislation (including Safeguarding of vulnerable adults 2014 and Trust in Care 2005) and Rehab Group standards. The post holders responsibilities will include: overseeing the quality of respite care, the management of relationships with key stakeholders in collaboration with the ISM; the leadership of the team and co-ordination/direction of the activities within the services; the safeguarding and protection of all respite service users in the service; the provision of clinical and professional leadership and promoting the values of the Rehab Group. The post holder will identify and implement an integrated approach to service delivery across the Group’s suite of services in their network area. Minimum Education & Skills required Be registered in the Register of Nurses & Midwives maintained by Bord Altranais agus Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann (Nursing Midwifery Board Ireland) A minimum of 3 years’ experience in management of supervisory role in the area of health or social care; of which 2 must be in the specialty area of intellectual disability Experience of creating and maintaining effective working relations and networks at all levels, to further the development of the service, and enhance the service's reputation To view full extensive job description please, click apply to visit our company site and download attachment at the bottom of the page.
