Position Available:

Healthcare Assistant (HCA) in Talbot Lodge Nursing Home, Malahide, Co. Dublin. (Part of the Brookhaven Healthcare Group)

Job Description:

Your role shall be to provide the highest standards of care to a designated section of residents within this Nursing Home. You will operate under the daily direction of the Senior Nursing Staff and act as the primary carer for our elderly/infirm residents. Along with provided clinical care you will also have be responsibility for supervising hygiene, nutrition and residential mobility. You will operate as part of a clinical care team lead by a Staff Nurse and a Senior Healthcare Assistant. You will be rostered on a weekly basis for a number of defined shifts.

Weekly Hours:

36-42 hours (3 or 4 days).

Remuneration:

€11.00 per hour.

Qualification:

Competent and professional worker with preferably a FETAC level 5 qualification (Care of the elderly or equivalent). (Note: Previous experience in a HCA role is an advantage but not essential as on-site induction training will be provided for Trainee HCA’s).
