Reporting to the Head Chef, the Chef de Partie will assist our kitchen team in producing food for Our Restaurant/Pub
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist the Head Chef with the overall running of the kitchen.
Preparing, cooking and presenting high quality dishes for the Restaurant and for events.
Assist in the monitoring of food quality and hygiene standards.
Adhere to HACCP regulations at all times
Support your fellow kitchen staff in observing appropriate systems of hygiene during food preparation and storage.
Assisting the Head Chef in creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes
Assist in Controlling Stock and Waste
The ideal candidate:
Ability to manage a small team
Have a passion for and be extremely knowledgeable about food.
Have a mature and pleasant manner for dealing with customers and team members.
Be a team player.
Be organized and able to work under pressure in a busy kitchen.
Have excellent knowledge of HACCP
Have experience in Costing menus and dishes
Knowledge and ability to run a section
Ability to work without close supervision
Have experience preparing dishes from different countries.
Have knowledge of all sections
Experience and Skills Required
Have a minimum of 5 years Experience working in the Hospitality industry and with Food
Have experience in Banqueting and Events
Previous experience in working in Pastry
Hold a professional Chef Diploma
Fluent in spoken and written English
Salary and Hours of work:
Working 40 hours a week
Earn a hourly rate of €14.80
Minimum Annual earnings of €30,763.20
Salary excludes Bonus and Shift Allowances
