We are seeking to recruit general operatives for our fast paced production facility in Lough Egish Castleblayney.

The successful candidates will be responsible for all aspects of product quality and plant hygiene, and will perform general operational duties across departments. You will be provided with training to enable you to become a fully skilled member of the team.

The role involves the employee being an integral part of a team, working together and meeting production plans.

Duties:

Working on a production line undertaking product grading, weighing and packaging.
Preparing product in line with specifications and recipes.
Checking products on the production line for quality.
Maintaining the correct procedures for use of equipment, storage, and hygiene standards.
Adhering to the highest standards of customer service.
Requirements:

The successful candidate must have at least 1 years’ experience in a similar role.
A good knowledge of food handling and personal hygiene is essential.
An understanding of the principles of HAACP and food hygiene would be a distinct advantage.
Must have a good understanding of English, spoken and written.
Good communication skills.
The ability to work as part of a team.
Flexible approach to working hours and days of work.
Good communication skills.
