Manage the service of members and guests in the dining room. Supervise dining room staff. Greet and seat guests. Maintain order and cleanliness. Assure that member satisfaction standards are consistently attained. The role is focused on our members and guests and will involve hands-on working at weekends and various dining events during the golfing season.
Receive and greet members and guests.
Reply to all phone and email restaurant inquiries.
Manage the daily business in providing a personal service to our members and guests.
Coordinate food service between kitchen and service staff.
Resolve any member and guest complaints.
Assure all safety procedures are in place and consistently followed.
Assure revenue and cash handling control procedures are continually followed.
Select, train, schedule, supervise, and evaluate service staff.
Manage the uniform program.
Complete end of day procedures.
Inspect dining room to ensure proper maintenance, cleanliness and safety.
Provide layout and design recommendations.
Suggest dining room decorations for special themes.
Assure that pre-opening cleaning tasks are assigned and completed as required including toilets and terrace area.
Suggest when additional service supplies and small equipment are needed.
Enforce established rules, regulations and policies.
Attend the weekly operations meetings.
