IT Helpdesk and ADS Support Engineer.: As part of Computer Technical Services ongoing expansion we require several IT Helpdesk and ADS Support Engineers. These roles will involve the day to day maintenance and up-keep of personal computer systems, support and administration of servers for Computer Technical Services. This role will predominately be based Dublin city centre on client sites

The Position The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic individual who has a keen interest in developing their technical knowledge. Your responsibilities will include, but won’t be limited to;

Active Directory infrastructure, administration and management.

Installation and configuration of personal computers

Backup and Migrate user data

Regular updates of virus software and patches

Follow client’s methodology and check list procedures

Support desk duties and update call management system

Technical Skills:

Two-years’ experience or more with support of PC’s

Knowledge of Windows OS and Servers. All versions

An understanding of hardware, operating systems for Windows and VMware.

A good working knowledge of software such as Microsoft Office and Outlook.

Excellent Knowledge of computer hardware, servers and laptops.

Ability to use diagnostic tools and utilities, including anti-virus and disk tools.

Experience with AD administration and PC installation.

All the above are desirable attributes

The Requirements

3rd Level certificate or equivalent in relevant computer studies

2 Years or more experience within similar duties

Must have at least Microsoft MCP qualification

Be willing to work hard. Good inter-personal and communications skills

Ability to work around and be creative as regards problem solving.

Honest with ability to follow systems and learn.

Experience with Thin Client Software solutions would be desirable.

Must hold a full valid work permit.


Salary: €36,000.00 to €40,000.00 /year


ADS helpdesk support: 3 years (Required)
