The Company:

AMCS Group www.amcsgroup.com is the technology leader in the area of design and development of RFID tracking, weighing, mobile computing and communication hardware and software solutions. We are based in Limerick City and currently operate in Ireland, UK, Mainland Europe and the U.S.

CASE-WS, Ltd. is a young company operating under contract for AMCS Group. At present the company works in close cooperation with AMCS Group while providing maximum independence to its own engineers.

The Role Includes:

·       - Installation, service and maintenance of on-board hardware and software products (including wiring and mechanical work) on refuse collection vehicles;

·       - Troubleshooting, repairing and testing equipment failures in the field;

·       - Scheduling and carrying-out service work in designated areas through cooperation with support team ensuring an efficient and smooth workflow;

·       - Planning and carrying out preventative maintenance procedures;

·       - Daily travel within the Greater Dublin Area to assigned locations, including occasional travel to Limerick City for Service Meetings and training;

·       - Active cooperation with other team members to effectively deliver consistent quality;

·       - Liaise with customers proactively to ensure early detection of any problems;

·       - Maintaining accurate up to date online records of all work completed / report all service repair visits to help the company meet and exceed customer expectations;

·       - Taking responsibility for Service Parts Inventory, tools, equipment and work vehicle assigned to you or your area;

·       - The successful candidate will be assigned a fixed area with a number of specific locations to work with permanent clients and will report to the Senior Engineer / Executive Director.

·       - Personal transportation and equipment (mobile phone, service computer) for the duration of the contract;

·       - Freedom to work autonomously;

·       - Monthly Salary (amount negotiable);

·       - This is an 11 months fixed term full-time contract. It might result in an offer of a permanent position. 


We are looking for candidates with a keen interest in electronics and technological developments. We will be happy to hear about your interests and aspirations.

·       - Reliability, trustworthiness, honesty, determination and strong work ethic;

·       - Computer/IT literacy;

·       - Fluent written and spoken English is essential;

·       - Spoken Polish, Slovakian, Czech languages would be an advantage;

·       - Full Drivers Licence;

·       - Strong organisational skills;

·       - Ability to multitask and to work on your own initiative;

·       - Hands-on approach to work;

·       - Flexibility and willingness to travel (average of 1-4 hours daily);

·       - Solid communication skills, ability to develop a trusting relationship with clients and crew;

·       - Relevant education and experience would be an advantage, but not essential. We are looking to recruit a candidate with a strong understanding of electronics, to keep up with our extensive training and to carry out field work effectively without supervision.
