H&MV is currently working on high voltage projects in the utility sector and is also engaged in high voltage projects in Renewables, Data Centres, Manufacturing and Pharmaceuticals in the private sector worldwide. The IT Systems Department is responsible for H&MV Engineering's Information Technology systems and processes. They provide a high-quality service that supports and enhances our business.

Responsibilities of the role

· Managing and responding to support calls from end users and prioritising same while managing “tickets” raised through the IT Ticketing App.

Troubleshooting issues with users to resolve technical faults, including account setup and network configuration.
Setting up new equipment and upgrading existing systems in line company standards
Monitoring and maintaining computer systems, networks, and equipment.
Researching and identifying solutions to software and hardware issues including operating systems, MS Office etc. across a range of software applications.
Setting up new-user accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues.
Delivering IT Induction to new starts.
Delivering IT Training. Training users on new systems, face-to-face and online.
Support the roll-out of new applications across the company.
Attendance at site/office locations for the purposes of set up and fault resolution
Systems administration duties in line with assigned tasks by IT Manager

Technical Skills/Knowledge

Strong working knowledge and familiarity of Microsoft windows operating systems
Working knowledge of Office 365 admin panel
Knowledge of Azure and Local AD
Working knowledge of SharePoint distinctly advantageous
Ability & knowledge to provide remote support to end users
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Familiarity with computer networks e.g. Routing, Switching, TCP/IP, VPN
Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products
Knowledge of complete set up – hardware and software for end users Required
Minimum 3+ years’ experience in similar role
