'Boland’s Opel, established in 1963 is looking for a fully qualified motor mechanic to join their team in a busy franchised dealership located in Clondalkin.
Experience is essential but on-going training will be provided on a regular basis.
A Permanent position is available in an established workshop offering a high level of job satisfaction and personal development..

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

• Performing work as outlined with a high level of efficiency and accuracy
• Willingness to participate in Opel online training and training seminars
• Maintain personal tool kit at an appropriate level
• Strive to achieve departmental objectives and targets
• Contribute to a good team spirit
Tasks
• To carry out service and repair work in accordance with franchise and dealership standards
• Liaising effectively with the service manager, detailing all necessary work and notifying the manager of any issues as they occur.
• To complete administrative work including warranty relating to service and repair work
• Liaise with Opel technical information services and familiarise with Opel technical bulletins
• Utilise diagnostic equipment
• To make written reports and conduct vehicle health checks
• Undertake vehicle road tests
