Traffic Light Support Operative D20

SRL are a busy and expanding nationwide Specialist Hire Company. We are seeking a full time, permanent Traffic Light Support Operative to work out of our Belfast depot, there is a potential of becoming the supervisor of this depot and region after full training and within 6-12 months. This role involves delivering, collecting and servicing our Portable Traffic Lights. You will be setting systems out on site, completing battery exchanges plus carrying out equipment servicing and repairs at the SRL depot and at customer sites. We're looking for someone that takes pride in their work and has a good eye for detail. Having excellent organisational skills, being a good communicator and a methodical approach to basic paperwork and emails is essential. This is at times a physically demanding role and will require manual handling. No experience is necessary as we will provide full training and support. BE entitlement on your driving license is a definite advantage for this role and you will be required to pass your test if you do not already have it  . Only minor convictions on your Driving Licence are acceptable. You will need to bring a copy of your drivers’ licence with you to your interview. Salary Starting salary is £17,000 with a review after 12 months with a structured training program that will reflect increases in your salary. A company van and mobile phone will be provided. This role is primarily Monday to Friday (8-5) but will involve some weekend work and Call Out’s on a rota basis. An "On Call" Allowance will be paid for this in addition to your basic salary.
