Building Staff Solutions (BSS) are currently recruiting for a Contracts Manager position in Dublin  working with an expanding Fire Prevention Specialist client currently working in Ireland and the UK with Leading Contractors and Specialist Clients

They are seeking an ambitious and experienced Professional in the Coatings business to join as Contracts Manager and Head Up a new business unit specialising in intumescent paints. This  will be a rewarding Management role for the right individual looking for career progression. 

 What you have to do:

Initial Site visits to obtain information for preparation of Health and Safety documentation.
Pre-start meetings, agree and submit programmes, labour plans, Tech Subs, Quality documentation and the required health & safety.
Running multiple Contracts at any one time, including site visits to each one.
Attending weekly and monthly meetings both on site and off.
Recruitment and training of Sprayers.
Managing Site crews and Subcontractors daily, ensuring productivity and quality standards are achieved.
Working with the Commercial team on Variations, application’s, and Invoicing.
Carry out pricing surveys in conjunction with the Commercial team.
Ensuring all Site works meet quality standards, carrying out QA/QC checks.
Working hand in hand with the Contracts team, ensuring the efficient delivery of projects.
Compiling and issuing weekly/monthly reports for each project to the Directors.
Making sure the Companies reputation is at the forefront of everyday you do.
Building relationships with new and existing Clients, collaborating with the Commercial Team to ensure a pipeline of work.
What you need to have

Minimum of 5 years experience in the Construction Industry.
Knowledge and experience of all types of Intumescent Paint
ICorr/NACE qualification or working towards
Working knowledge of pumps, lines, Elcometer, Dew Point Meter etc
Be familiar with Third Party Accreditation schemes e.g FIRAS, LPCB.
Be proficient in Microsoft Office.
Good knowledge of Health Safety, MSiC preferred.
Knowledge of Quality systems/BORIS would be an advantage.
Full clean driving license and CSCS Card essential.
Willingness to undertake course’s in line with the forthcoming legislation change.
