Job Description - As an Events and AV Coordinator you thrive on creating events, ensuring the smooth running from point of enquiry to delivery. You are creative and technically skilled to provide high level AV support, photography and videography as required. Role & Responsibilities AV technician & Content creator Provide a high level customer service and hospitality to all members and guests Strong ability to work with a team, self-starter and good communicator. Ability to work with events clients - creating the most appropriate AV plans for events working with clients requirements High quality photography & videography Editing (Adobe Photoshop, inDesign) for photos & video. Some photos may have 24hour turnaround requirement. Management of AV equipment (Storage, setup, event execution, takedown, quality control) - Reporting to AV Manager Ability to upload & edit presentations to screens for events as required in Keynote, PowerPoint & PDF. Knowledge of AV equipment and troubleshooting Event Management Support Arrange event room setup and takedown as required events, workshops & programmes Move and install heavy equipment as needed *Note manual handling training provided Receive deliveries and direct vendors for events from rental companies, caterers, A/V Gain full-knowledge of event space layout, capabilities, storage locations of all event assets Provide post event feedback and improvement areas Support the customer during the event, act as their problem solver Provide feedback and improvements to management Management of events stock (drinks, food, stationary etc) Monitor and proactively respond to the needs of event organisers and guests throughout Community Provide a high level customer service and hospitality to all members and guests Cover the front desk during business hours Answer “walk-up” questions from members or guests - troubleshooting Handle member and guest queries Creation of signage & posters to inform community of all events, activities and notices Accept post and deliveries, distribute mail to community mail boxes Filtering and responding to inquiries through general email funnel Keep entrance and desk area clean & tidy Liaise with facilities team for any issues that may arise within the space Represent the distinct Dogpatch Labs brand aesthetic, atmosphere and culture Skills and experience High level of technical ability to manage audio and visual systems High level creative & technical ability in photography and videography Provide a portfolio in application if available. Photography qualification *Required Hospitality experience Excellent communication skills Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and comfortable dealing with ambiguity Dogpatch Labs is an equal opportunity employer.
