Our client, a small and fast-growing company providing specialised ‘technical services’ for the healthcare/medical device/pharmaceutical space, is looking for a Sales Engineer to join their team. This individual will be based remotely from Ireland, reporting directly to the owner and travelling to potential clients within Ireland as required to complete the sales process and ensure growth targets are met.
NB: This is a high-potential and long-term career opportunity in a secure sector, suitable for an experienced individual selling technical services/products to the Healthcare (Hospital) /Dental / Medical Device / Pharmaceutical space.
Ensuring growth targets are met.
Travel to potential clients within Ireland as required to complete the sales process.
Prepare commercial documentation, tenders, contracts and proposals.
Become familiar with client sectors (hospital/dental/medical device/pharma).
The selling of capital equipment may be required in the future so sales experience and knowledge in both technical services and capital equipment would be desirable.
Build long term relationships with current and potential clients.
Oversee implementation of a CRM with support from administration.
Give ongoing input to marketing on material, campaigns, newsletters, website. Run/assist with the running of social media pages as required.
Key Attributes/Skills/Experience Required
NB: Technical confidence. Experienced and confident with selling technical services/ products to the Hospital/Dental/Medical Device/Pharmaceutical space.
Relevant B2B sales/marketing/technical background coupled with ambition.
An engineering or scientific background preferred.
An innovative mindset and drive in closing high-value contracts.
Superior interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
Self-motivated and able to operate independently. Should demonstrate success in meeting sales targets.
Self-starter. Professional demeanour.
Tech and IT savvy.
Knowledge of emerging marketing methods.
Ideally skilled with social media platforms.
