Xunison is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to build and grow the team, the product and the customer base!
The Project Manager plays a key role in working with clients to recommend and design solutions that integrate Xunisons S-series products with the clients existing smart home and router mesh infrastructure. This role is key in working with Service Delivery, Product, R&D and clients in designing and delivering architectures that deal with a complex mix of operating models including on-premise, hosted, private cloud, multiple public clouds etc. Needs to work with the client as well as core Xunison teams and professional services teams in customizing solutions for individual client needs.
Must set up device testing and standards approval. Should have experience covering testing and acceptance of devices by telecom network operators.
Have experience dealing with the telecom directly and also filling out RFPS and technical documents.
Can plan out the project with all pitfalls taken into consideration.
Be able to push the team in order to achieve customer deadlines.
Speak to the CEO on a daily basis to take direction on where the project needs to go.
Provides overall leadership to an entire project team, including overseeing other functional team leaders.
Communicates with internal/external clients to determine specific requirements and expectations; manage client expectations as an indicator of quality, perform timely escalations.
Responsible for maintaining positive and ongoing relationships with clients.
Takes on project supervisory responsibility and provides mentorship and coaching to an entire project team.
Plans and integrates the work of multiple teams on a project.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Business or equivalent education/experience required.
Minimum of 10 years’ project management experience in delivering telecommunication projects.
Experience of managing the delivery of consumer products in a telecom environment.
Experience in covering Telecom, Broadband and media.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or Telecommunications.
Minimum 10 years of IT/Telecommunications industry experience.
Knowledge and experience in agile and waterfall methodology would be an added advantage.
In-depth understanding of customer needs and the general impact of changes in the business environment and industry trends. In-depth understanding of the client’s industry (wireline, wireless, data services, cable systems, pre/post-paid business models etc.)
