Role Overview This role arises from the current Finance Manager being assigned to a Financial Management System IT Project within the University. The Finance Department is a dynamic information and administration hub, which responds to the changing needs of users. The effective leadership of a team of professional staff is critical to the development and effective functioning of the Department. This post is a key role and the post holder would be responsible for the management of the financial function of the Campus, for planning and implementing appropriate budgetary control systems in accordance with the Technological Universities Act 2018 and the University Code of Governance. Based at TU Dublin Blanchardstown, the primary responsibilities will focus on the business needs of TU Dublin Blanchardstown. However, the successful candidate will also work with colleagues across the University to ensure consistency of approach both in terms of current processes and the development of new processes to support the overall University.
