Job Description:

121 Fitness, a successful company in the sport and fitness industry in Navan, Co. Meath, Ireland, are seeking to employ a highly skilled and motivated individual to join their team from September 2020. This position is reserved for individuals with qualifications and experience in sports coaching, personal training, strength and conditioning training and an understanding of sports nutrition. The position involves overall responsibility for the operation of 121 Fitness’s Sports and Conditioning Programme. They will be responsible for the planning and development of a sports and conditioning/ high performance programme for 121 Fitness clients. The successful applicant will meet the following criteria: • Qualified in personal training and high performance/ sports conditioning coaching (minimum 5 years industry experience) • Experience and qualifications in sports coaching, preferably in rugby (minimum 5 years’ experience) • Knowledge of sports nutrition an advantage. • Strong interpersonal communication skills • Sound knowledge of social media platforms and the ability to market 121 Fitness accordingly • Strong leadership ability • Able to develop relationships between 121 Fitness and local sporting clubs • High level of professionalism, organisation and planning ability • Able to complete administrative tasks • Native level English speaker • Full clean driving licence with access to own transport and willingness to travel • Flexibility is required with the successful candidate required to work weekends or out of office hours as necessary The successful applicant will be offered a 2 year contract to fulfil the above role, running from September 2020-September 2022, with the ability to extend. This position is full-time (39 hours a week, including weekends where necessary). Remuneration will be €30,000 per annum.
