JOB OPPORTUNITY We have an exciting opportunity for a Community Employment Supervisor, (12 Month Contract renewed annually-subject to DEASP funding) for a CE Scheme operated at 52 Moatview Avenue Priorswood Coolock Dublin 17, Overall Purpose of the Post: The CE Supervisor will be responsible for the effective, efficient management and co-ordination of human, financial and material resources of the CE Scheme at MFDAltd and its implementation, reporting to the Sponsoring Committee.A core aspect of the role is to support and coach CE participants towards gaining the skills and competencies in preparation for employment. Duties of the Post: • Ensure the provision of an efficient financial accounting system in line with CE corporate governance requirements as directed by the Sponsoring committee. • Ensure that financial returns i.e. wages claims, materials claims, and participant development grant claims meet the standard as laid down by the Department of employment affairs and Social Protection, • Co-ordinate the recruitment of CE applicants per the CE Recruitment and referral process issued by DEASP and in line with MFDAltd policies and procedures. • Plan and co-ordinate the approved work schedules liaising with the Sponsoring Committee. • Ensure contracts of employments are in place for all participants. • Carry out an identification of learner needs with each participant on the scheme as part of the Individual learner Plan Process • Identify needs and source and co-ordinate cost effective training/development opportunities in line with DSP Procurement guidelines. • Prepare an Individual Learning Plan for each participant in accordance with DEASP CE procedures. • Provide a safe and healthy environment for participants – both in terms of facilities and work practices • Implement Moatview/Fairfield Development association ltd health and safety policies and procedures, carrying out relevant risk assessments as required.Maintain a record of all incidents and accidents reporting to the Sponsoring Committee. Essential Criteria: • A major 3rd Level qualification (NFQ Level 6 or higher) in Business/Financial Administration, Training, Human Resources, project management or related disciplines • Minimum of 3 years’ previous Supervisory and people management experience relevant to the post • Management/coordination experience including staff support and supervision.
