Supervisor will carry out an identification of Learner Needs with each participant on the project as part of the Individual Learner Plan process. To agree needs and source effective training/development opportunities to meet the needs identified. Prepare an Individual Learning Plan for each participant for submission to DSP within the agreed time frame. To carry out any other function relevant to the position of Community Employment as indicated by Sponsor Supervisor must be competent in their understanding and implementation of a homeless service supporting participants in running of the service. The CE Supervisor will be a multitasking person who is able to carry out the duties, goals and standards for Community employment as set out by the Procedures. The duties include: Interpersonal Skills oEffective communication skills. oCompetent report writing skills. oExperience of working with vulnerable individuals and job-seekers. oCapable of directing, motivating, coaching and mentoring jobseekers. Ability to work under the direction of the Manager for the effective implementation of the CE Programme in line with the CE Operational Procedures. Qualifications oMajor Award NFQ Level 6 or higher, preferably Social care studies, Business/Financial Administration, Training, Human Resources, Project Management oIT skills essential (e.g. MS Office, Word, Excel, Power Point)Essential Requirements •3 years’ work experience in a supervisory capacity. •Have excellent verbal and written communication skills. •The ability to work with participants professionally and with empathy. •The ability to work in professional boundaries. •The ability to prepare and implement training programs and knowledge of QQI awards. •Knowledge/experience of administration procedures.
