Hills Fine Art & Craft (Hills Art) was established in 1981 and distributes art and craft materials to retail outlets across each of the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
Reporting to the warehouse manager and working as part of a team of warehouse staff, the role involves:
Good out - picking and packing customer orders, efficiently and accurately
Goods in – unpacking and allocating deliveries to correct locations
Stock takes and maintenance of own packing area
The role involves using a ladder and some lifting of boxes in addition to operating a hand held device. Depending on work requirements and training/licences, there may be some use of a forklift.
Full compliance with health and safety requirements in the warehouse and with COVID safety precautions are essential.
Previous experience working in a busy warehouse environment, picking and packing orders and assisting with goods in
Ability to operate a hand held device
Current forklift licence (desirable not essential)
Ability to work as part of a team, positive attitude, able to get along with others – this is essential
Flexibility – willing to respond to changing work requirements – this is also essential
There is no public transport to Baldonnell Business Park – your own transport would be necessary to get to and from work each day.
Working hours are 8.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday with a half hour for lunch (rota times for COVID social distancing).
Initially a contract to the end of December 2020 will be offered, further employment will be dependent on staffing needs for 2021 – and cannot be guaranteed.
