Job Duties:
We are currently seeking a self-motivated and energetic wood machine operator to assist with the daily flow of orders through a busy joinery manufacturing workshop. The role will support the smooth running of the manufacturing process and efficient running of the machinery, to deal with the demand of increasing workload.
Duties will include: The responsibility for programming, setting and operating a variety of machines to include: CNC, Panel saws, Edge bander, Other machinery as and when required - (training will be provided). Working to a schedule and delivering projects within the required timescale. Preparation of component parts ready for the joinery workshop.

Qualifications / Experience:
Essential
Must have a proven knowledge of the joinery manufacturing industry. Knowledge of H&S procedures and responsibilities, Ability to work with minimal guidance. Strive towards continuous improvement. Ability to work in an environment that is fluid with constantly changing priorities. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work as part of a team. Flexible approach to meeting strict deadlines.
Desirable: Experience in Alphacam software and cutting list programs.
