Job Duties:
Reading & accurately interpreting engineering drawings
Setting & operating CNC machines with Fanuc controls
Operating independently to the required efficiency targets
In process inspection of goods & carrying out quality checks
Preparing products for the next stage of the production process
Operating workshop machinery
Using MRP system
Operating in line with company H & S policy
Carrying out basic maintenance & housekeeping checks & tasks

Qualifications / Experience:
Essential Criteria:
Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
Ability to accurately read & interpret engineering drawings
Experience setting & operating machines with Fanuc controls
Ability to operate independently & to the required efficiency targets
Experience of conducting in-process quality checks
Experience operating workshop machinery
Computer literate
Awareness of H & S policy
Strong communication skills
Strong numeracy & literacy skills
Ability to demonstrate a strong timekeeping & attendance record
Awareness of & ability to carry out basic machine maintenance & housekeeping
Desirable Criteria:
5 years' + experience working in a similar role
Experience working in a busy precision engineering environment
Experience working within the hydraulics sector
Engineering qualification (CNC Specialism)
CNC automation experience advantageous but not essential
