Our client who operates a food distribution business operating in the midlands wishes to recruit a high calibre person to join it's management team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:-

The supervision of the entire accounting function of the business to include the production of monthly management accounts.

The operation of payroll and periodical VAT returns for the business.

Preparation of detailed cash flow forecasts. The implementation of various internal control systems for the business including costings, wages, suppliers, pricing and yearly budgets.

The successful candidate should be a qualified accountant with a minimum of 3 year's experience in the food distribution industry. The candidate should also be driven and ambitious, possess excellent communication and organisational skills and a strong work ethic. A good working knowledge of computerised accounting systems would be a distinct advantage.

Salary will be commensurate with the level of experience of the successful candidate.
