Trailer Fitter

Roadtrain is a family owned business that has been providing full load distribution services throughout Ireland and the UK for over eighty years. We operate a vast and versatile fleet of articulated vehicles as well as an extensive trailer fleet.

Roadtrain is recruiting an experienced HGV Trailer Fitter based at our Dublin depot to maintain and repair its trailer fleet.

Reporting directly to our Maintenance manager, it will be the successful candidate’s role to inspect, service and repair trailers to a high standard.

Main Duties

Liaising with suppliers and transport department regarding servicing, parts and scheduling
Conduct trailers repairs and inspections on time as per our maintenance schedule
Carry out Mobile repairs/servicing when required
Administrative duties

Requirements

Previous experience in HGV Trailer repairs/servicing and MOT preparation
Knowledge of trailer diagnostics
Welding experience
Good time management
Computer literate
Full valid driving license (HGV driving license a distinct advantage)

Hours of Operation

Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm
Saturday 8:00am to 1:00pm (On Rotation)
