Liaising with the Apprentice Liaison Officer on apprentice schemes like the Youth Orchestra
Liaising with concert and rehearsal venues and accommodation providers
Liaising with accountants regarding Arts Council reporting requirements

Person Specification:

Arts management graduate or equivalent transferable experience
Considerable experience working in Arts Management and/or Administration roles, especially in the areas of Outreach and Education, Arts and Disability
Proven success in fundraising for the arts
Event coordination experience
Confidence and ability to work on own initiative

Experience working to targets and excellent budgeting management skills
Strong stakeholder engagement, networking, influencing and negotiation skills
Knowledge of the Irish music scene, particularly Classical and Traditional music / Arts and Disability / Youth Outreach
Experience working with children and vulnerable adults is preferred
An appreciation and understanding for the mission of the Irish Memory Orchestra

The role requires 5 days on site in Galway during the IMO Youth Orchestra & Choir performance week in Galway. Provisionally this is around Halloween 2021, although this may move to Easter 2022 in the event of Covid restrictions.

Closing Date -  12th February 2021.
