Purpose of the Role:
Quarry Group looking to appoint Quarry Operations Manager to join our management Team in the North West Region.


Manage our innovation development of concrete products and bagged products, for sale in Ireland and UK markets.

Key Tasks:
Operation management of Quarry working closely with senior management team.
Project manager will plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep senior management team informed the entire way. This is all done within the confines of a company's goals and vision.
Manage our key clients and our sale team associated with product development.
Develop systems for quality and safety control within these manufacturing processes and system.
Project manager needs experience on a wide variety of projects, including construction, IT,
Coordination and completion of projects on time within budget scope. Oversee all aspects of both projects. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize progress of project. Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project.
HR, and marketing. Manage staff and customers with our sales team in Ireland and increase our sales team into UK.
Breakdown of Key Tasks and Activities to be completed as part of this project.
Provide a breakdown of tasks/activities to be undertaken during this project. This section should include details of internal and or external persons responsible for undertaking the tasks.
Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
Be a constant presence on the floor to inspire and motivate management and staff to perform well.
Ensure all reasonable care is taken for the health and safety of yourself, other management and employees, guests and other persons on the premises and all safety procedures and rules are observed with covid-19.
Report and where possible act on incidents of accidents or damage.


Project managers need to have a degree in construction management or business development as well as several years of experience in the relevant line of work.

Your Profile:
Previous experience as a Manager/ Assistant Manager within a Quarry or Construction Industry.

You must be able to multi-task and take a hands-on approach.
Proven track record of people management and leadership
Ability to lead and motivate.
Excellent communication skills.
Proven track record within Industry.
