We are looking for a M+E Quantity Surveyor, who will report into Senior Quantity Surveyor.

The role:

measuring from plan drawings
To assist the Commercial Manager in his/ her duties.
Support to the project Contracts Manager on commercial and financial issues.
Tracking costs and labour throughout the project
Tracking the Project Hours Spent V’s Earned schedule
Carry out full construction take off, prepare construction cost plan, track costs and labour efficiency throughout the project
Take off, price and track variations for submission to Client
Present take off’s in a clear and coherent format
Providing timely and accurate monthly project performance reviews
Preparing timing and accuracy of submission of valuation and agreement of certification each month
· Liaise with Finance Department on monthly progress claims and payments.

Preparing timely and accurate assessments/payment certs/payless notices for sub-contractors each month (Understand payment conditions within the Construction Act)
Producing timely and accurate cash flow submissions
To ensure the final account is agreed within specific project timeline.
Ensuring the Company will not be exposed to launch 3rd party claims.
Prepare subcontract packages for procurement, agree contracts and manage through to final account.
The position/ role will be primarily that of an electrical Junior Quantity Surveyor with support to other aspects of the engineering company.

Desirable candidate

Preferably from electrical services background
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
