Doolan Commercial are currently recruiting a HGV apprentice.
This four-year apprenticeship is offered in conjunction with SOLAS and involves both on and off the job training. Once successfully complete, the apprentice will be awarded a QQI level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft in HGV Motor Mechanics.

We are searching for a candidate to assist us with HGV repairs, inspections and maintenance.

Good working knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, hydraulics and electrics would be a decided advantage but not essential.

Responsibilities:

Carrying out repairs and inspections to vehicles to the standard required by the company.
Ensuring that all repairs, inspections and servicing is to the highest standard.
Take instructions from and liaise with the workshop manager over required repairs.
Complete all paperwork required to the standards required by the company.
Undertake any related duties which may be required from time to time by the Management.
